I was told they cannot accept my application because I was only available for a short stint and that they would rather hire someone who is applying to stay with them for long term employment. But I could not help but wonder why the mindset is that way.. does it mean they would rather hire for tenure than for results?

Create a script for github that will create our content (in this case the .md files) based on what we send from telegram Create the connection between telegram and github (in the form of an API).
