And the best soups in rainy roadtrips you can find in stalls like this, where drivers find refuge in the embrace of a brothy broth. It’s very affordable too! Give a tip if you can.
Everyone knows that the best lechon, the OG-iest of it all can be found in Carcar.
And the same goes for chicharon and ampao (not pictured). Go to the Carcar Pasalubong Center for best rates especially if you plan on buying a lot!
But if you don’t want to travel South, and you go North, there’s always Titay’s who hold the best pastries and pasalubongs since 19-something. Going strong!
Quick airport eats (I think this is gyudon).
Be sure to visit the local wet markets in Cebu. Anywhere in the island!
And grab a bottle of this dip! We call it ginamos or sinamak or just suka (with the acccent in the letter A there). It’s good with fried things and even green mangoes!
